For those not in the know, IAmSu! is your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper that isn’t quite a household name just yet. The Richmond, Calif.-bred spitter got his first big break appearing on fellow Bay rapper LoveRance’s “Up” and later on E-40′s “Function”. He has since appeared on a number of local hits and also alongside heavy hitters like Wiz Khalifa and Juvenile. Beyond essentially singlehandedly putting the Bay Area back on the map, he has slowly been able to, together with his Southern California counterparts YG and Problem, bring California back to the forefront of today’s rap scene.
After releasing his Million Dollar Afro mixtape with Problem earlier this year, IAmSu! now drops the sequel to last year’s fan favorite Kilt. Kilt 2 features appearances and production from Tank, Ty Dolla Sign, Tha Bizness, The Invasion, Keak Da Sneak, Mistah F.A.B., Trackademicks, Jay Ant and more.
